CheckMy.site is a free website scanner that analyzes publicly available information about websites. When you enter a URL, we scan that website's public-facing elements (HTML, headers, robots.txt, etc.) and generate a report.

Data We Collect

We collect minimal data to operate the service:

• URLs you scan — stored to generate reports and the public results feed. Scan results may be cached for up to 24 hours.
• IP addresses — temporarily used for rate limiting (max scans per hour). Not stored permanently or shared.
• No personal accounts — we don't require registration, email addresses, or any personal information.

Cookies & Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

We do not use any first-party tracking cookies or analytics tools.

Third-Party Services

• Google Fonts — web fonts, loaded from Google's CDN.

Data We Don't Collect

We do not collect, store, or process: personal names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment information, login credentials, or any data from the websites you scan (beyond publicly visible HTML/headers).

Data Retention

Scan results are cached for up to 24 hours for performance. Public result pages may persist in our scan history. Rate limiting data is temporary and not stored beyond the current session.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data, there is generally nothing to delete. If you want a specific scan result removed from our public feed, contact us and we'll remove it promptly.

Children's Privacy

CheckMy.site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
